Shady Grove Family YMCA's Tom Poole Teen Center offers a variety of activities for middle and high school students. Bring your 'band' of friends for a game of Wii's RockBand 2. More of a solo artist? Try out the newly released DJ Hero. Sharpen your bowling and tennis skills with Wii Sports, and get in shape with Wii Fit! If Nintendo is not your style come try out our brand new air hockey table, ping pong table and foosball table! For those in the mood to unwind and relax, enjoy our cafe where you get to decide what plays on the TV and surf the web on our computers. Or just take time to relax and play a board game on our over-stuffed couches and comfy chairs. 

TEEN CENTER BIRTHDAY PARTIES
Take the hassle out of planning Birthday parties! The Teen Center is pleased to offer Birthday party packages for teens (11-18). Packages vary from use of the Teen Center to include a live DJ, cake, decorations and goodie bags. Contact Lindsay for more information or to schedule

Friday Fun Nights: Join us Fridays for tournaments, games and movies!
Family Saturdays: On Saturdays the Teen Center opens its doors to the whole family! Come join us for family Wii tournaments and ping pong tournaments! Children under the age 11 must be accompanied by an adult.
TCSBM (Teen Center Spring Break Madness): Come celebrate no school with ping pong tournaments, karaoke and movie nights!
Poetry Month Celebration: Come out Tuesday, April 24 at 7:00 p.m. for open mic night. Bring your original poetry or an old favorite to read.
Saturday Night Live: Saturday, April 17 7:00 p.m.--10:00 p.m. teens take over the Shady Grove YMCA! All 6th, 7th and 8th graders are invited to dance to a live DJ, play XBOX and Wii, dodgeball tournaments, basketball tournaments, air hockey, foosball, pool and a dance contest. Admission: $5 includes access to all SNL events, one peice of pizza and one drink.
